In response to a number of inquiries, phone calls, etc., Patriot FC is looking to form a rising U-15 boys travel team for the fall 2015/spring 2016 soccer season. The initial tryout for this age group will be conducted on Wednesday, May 6th from 6:30-8:00pm at Veterans Park in Newtown. The tryout will be conducted on the 11v11 soccer field and will be run by Patriot FC Director of Coaching Gavin Flannigan. All interested rising U-15 players are welcome to attend. Players who will be entering 9th grade in the fall, but are underage (rising U-14) are also welcome to attend. Please forward this message to any players/families that may potentially be interested.
Players do not need to register for this tryout. However, a medical release form needs to be completed for each player that participates. We also ask that for players who will attend, please send an e-mail to Coach Flannigan (email@example.com) indicating the name of the player so that we can plan the tryout session for the expected number of participants. Based on the number of players that attend the tryout, we will develop a team expectations sheet and open up formal registration. In the fall and spring soccer season, the team will have access to (2) club-sponsored training sessions per week (9-10 weeks), with a professional trainer.
Patriot FC Mission Statement - The mission of Patriot FC is to develop, promote, teach and administer the game of soccer to boys and girls under the age of 19. This will be done through high-level soccer training, coaching, and participation in league and tournament competition. Both intramural and travel teams will foster and provide a positive environment in which to learn a love for the game.
