Volunteers

Patriot FC would like to thank all of our current volunteers and those of you who are considering volunteering. There are several ways you can help the club and give back to your community. We are always looking for motivated people to be involved as coaches, coordinators, fundraising committee members and fields and facilities volunteers.

The club serves the residents of Newtown, New Hope, Upper Makefield, Wrightstown, and surrounding Bucks County communities. The programs are held at Brownsburg Park, Veterans Park, Washington Crossing Park, and Council Rock School District venues.

Please follow the instructions below that apply to your volunteer role.

Volunteer Background Check Instructions

Audience: All volunteers who directly interact with children

Beginning July 1, 2015 any adult applying for an unpaid position as a volunteer responsible for the welfare of a child or having direct contact with children must undergo criminal background checks.

Required Clearances:

A report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP). https://epatch.state.pa.us/Home.jsp
Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home
If you have resided outside of Pennsylvania at any point over the past 10 years, you must complete an FBI fingerprint check. https://uenroll.identogo.com/workflows/1KG6ZJ. Concussion Certification & Training

Audience: Coaches, Assistant Coaches

HEADS UP Concussion in Youth Sports is a free, online course available to coaches, parents, and others helping to keep athletes safe from concussion. It features interviews with leading experts, dynamic graphics and interactive exercises, and compelling storytelling to help you recognize a concussion and know how to respond if you think that your athlete might have a concussion.

All travel team coaches must complete the training in order to coach your team.
