Patriot FC: Building Players, Teams, and Community Since 1980
Founded in 1980 as the Upper Makefield Newtown Soccer Club (UMNSC), our mission was simple: give local youth the opportunity to learn and love the game of soccer. Over the years, we’ve grown from a small community program into a competitive club serving families across Bucks County, PA, Central New Jersey, and beyond. In 2012, we became Patriot FC, a name that better reflects the diversity and reach of our players and families.
Our home fields include Council Rock North, George School, Brownsburg Park, Veterans Park, and Washington Crossing Park.
The growth of the club, and of the game itself, allowed us to bring on Gavin Flannigan as our Director of Coaching and Player Development in 2010. Under his leadership, we’ve expanded both the quality and variety of programs for more than 1,000 players. Today, Patriot FC offers opportunities for everyone, from dedicated athletes seeking high-level competition to casual players looking for fun, fitness, and friendship.
At every level, we focus on more than just soccer skills. We teach sportsmanship, personal integrity, and the value of commitment — to the team, to each other, and to the club.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by a volunteer board. Our success is built on the dedication of our players, families, coaches, and community. We’re proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what’s ahead.
